Wild Weather Blizzard Double IPA

Big beers deserve big thinking,

When we first opened our doors, unwrapped the fermenters from their shrink wrap and donned the bright yellow boots for the first time, we knew then that we had a mammoth task on our hands; to create a series of beers we love inspired by the seasons and weather, but not necessarily seasonal beers.

From the get go “Blizzard” has taken many forms, starting at a ruby colour ale with an ABV at the top of our range, then there was talk of a spiced beer to see off October as we thrust towards the darker months.

Even as we speak this beer is evolving, with the addition of new hops, more maturation time but keeping that beautiful malt base that made last year’s Blizzard oh so special!
